Wheatgrass Immunity Shot
One ounce of liquid chlorophyll to start the day — the classic wheatgrass shot, balanced with amla and ginger so it tastes as good as it feels.

Ingredients
- 1 large handful (about 30 g) fresh wheatgrass
- 1 amla (Indian gooseberry), deseeded — or 1 tbsp amla juice
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- Squeeze of lemon
Method
- 1
Rinse the wheatgrass gently and chop roughly.
- 2
Blend with amla, ginger and cold water for 60–90 seconds.
- 3
Strain through a fine sieve or muslin cloth, pressing out every drop.
- 4
Add lemon and honey, pour into a shot glass and drink immediately on an empty stomach.
Chef's tip
Wheatgrass oxidises fast — drink within 15 minutes of juicing for the full enzyme benefit.
